Ferro Aluminium

 

 Ferro aluminum is a ferro alloy, consisting of iron and aluminum. The metal usually consists of 35% to 40% aluminum and applications of ferro aluminum include the deoxidation of steel, hard facing applications, reducing agent, thermite reactions. The alloy is also known for the ability to manufacture low melting point alloys. The presence of iron in aluminum helps in the decrease of casting defects, improves tensile, yield, hardness, and maintains strength at high temperatures.
